I was ordained a priest on the 16th of Dec. 1966 in the Basilica of St.Peter in Rome by Card. Pietro Agagianian along with54 from all over the world.
I celebrated the Silver Jubilee of my priesthood in Jaffna in 1992 at the major Seminary of St,Francis Xavier in Jaffna, where I was Recor (1986-1996) and in London and in Germany
I celebrated on a grand scale the 40th year of my ordination with faint hope of reaching my 50th. Bishop Josef Voss of Muenster presided with 16 concelebrants in my parish church od St.Maria Magdalene Horneburg where I was Parish Priest 1997-2007.
I celebrated the golden jubilee of my priesthood in exile in the Vatican St.Marthas Chapel with a concelebrated mass with Pope Francis, Card. G.Pell, 2 Archbishops, 1 Bishop and 6 priests .
On my 51st Anniversry of Ordination I took frewell from Germany from a large gathering of priests and friends
My 52nd Aniiversary of my ordination I am happy to celebrat at St>Mary's Cathedral, Jaffna, where I was baptised, received 1st Communion, Confirmation and said my 1st mass in Sri Lanka in
September 1997.
